When I met Tracy and Eric, I was immediately taken by their love story. It was full of intention and ease - weekend hikes through Desolation Wilderness, relaxed afternoons at their favorite local brewery, and a shared dream of getting married under a big, beautiful tree. After hearing about their vision and the way they wanted their guests to feel - welcomed, connected, and surrounded by love, I began planning.

The Tree at Ru’s Farm was the perfect setting. Grounded and full of quiet beauty, it became the natural center of their celebration. Music played a big role throughout the day. With Eric’s background in saxophone and their shared love for live performance, they worked closely with GoldenBell Music, carefully selecting each song, from the processional to their first dance. During the reception, a live trio and DJ played alongside each other, blending live instrumentation with curated tracks to create a dance floor that felt both intimate and electric.

Their day was filled with thoughtful, personal touches - not overly styled, allowing the beautiful landscape to be the decoration, and deeply intentional. The seating chart was covered with photos from their relationship, offering guests a glimpse into the moments that brought them to this day. And in a move that was equal parts practical and endearing, they carried walkie-talkies to stay connected behind the scenes through the morning, checking in with each other and taking moments just the two of them. From start to finish, the wedding felt like a true extension of who they are—joyful, grounded, and full of love.
